When you first reach La Gomera by plane or boat you might think it is an impenetrable fortress because of its high and steep rock walls. Once you arrive you wind through hairpin bends and breathtaking views of the island. This island is a paradise of natural beauty. Not the type of island that offers golden sandy beaches or a vibrant nightlife, but above all tranquility and plenty of flora and fauna for nature lovers.
In principle you can go to this island all year round, but the hiking trails are at their best in spring. The temperature is not too hot and the hills are covered with the most colourful flowers.
